Tap Tap Tempo collects no personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDK in the app.
That sentence is the whole policy. The rest of this page is the detail behind it, because "we collect nothing" is easy to write and worth being precise about.
Your best score, longest run, best streak and number of attempts are stored on your device using the system's standard preferences storage. They never leave it, and deleting the app deletes them.
If you are signed in to Game Center and choose to use the leaderboards, your scores are sent to Apple, and the name shown beside them is the Game Center nickname you chose with Apple. This is handled entirely by Apple's own service under Apple's Privacy Policy.
We receive no personal information from it. The developer cannot see your Apple account, your email address, or who you are — only the same public leaderboard every other player sees.
The game is fully playable signed out. Nothing is gated behind Game Center.
On launch the app may download a small configuration file that holds the game's difficulty numbers, so they can be adjusted without shipping an update. This request is read-only — the app sends no information about you, your device, or your play.
The file is hosted on GitHub Pages. As with any web server, GitHub may log the request, including the IP address it came from; see GitHub's Privacy Statement. We do not receive, request, or store those logs.
The app collects no personal data from anyone, of any age. There is nothing here that could identify a child, because there is nothing here that could identify anybody.
Rights to access, correct, or delete personal data only bite where personal data is held, and we hold none. If you want the records on your device gone, deleting the app removes them. Leaderboard entries are held by Apple and can be managed through your Game Center settings.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version adds a feature that genuinely needs data — this page will be updated and the date below will change. A version that starts collecting something will say so plainly rather than hiding it in a paragraph like this one.
